All, I have a Tektronix TDS210 Oscilloscope that the backlight just went dark. I've tried changing the contrast, checking the CCFL tube, and associated wiring. All looks and checks good. My next thought was the CCFL inverter circuit. I pulled the two multivibrator transistors and checked them and they appear okay. I checked continuity of the inverter transformer and all looks good with it too. I thought for sure it would be either the CCFL tube or the transistors. Anybody have any ideas of what to look for next or in which direction to go from here? A new P.S. board is available from Tek for about $100.00, so if I can't figure out something soon, I'll just order a new board. But if I can get this one going, I'll have the scope back in service sooner. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thanks and Regards, Jim -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
