I miss his > posts.... Thanks for the vote of confidence, Mark. The message volume was going up and interesting content (in my opinion) was going down. It seemed like far too many messages were from people that hadn't bothered to read the manual. I was on the fence about what to do when I got yet another question sent to me privately with no reason it couldn't have gone to the whole list (I hate that). Maybe it's time to try again. Anyway, on to some PIC related stuff. I have re-done much of the PIC resources web page at http://www.embedinc.com/pic: - The ASMPIC preprocessor has been expanded and now includes inline functions. These have been used to add some limited floating point constant and math capability, along with a few other things. The FFTC2 and FFFREQ inline functions might be handy if you do much digital filtering. - You can download full working software that installs itself from a self-extracting EXE file. This includes all the build tools, the minimum mandatory include files, and the module template files. - The full HAL example PIC project can now be downloaded. This contains all the source code, build scripts, linker control file, and tools to completely rebuild it yourself. ******************************************************************** Olin Lathrop, embedded systems consultant in Littleton Massachusetts (978) 742-9014, olin@embedinc.com, http://www.embedinc.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
