I have a hint for our poor disadvantaged (kangaroo herding) brothers and
sisters down under.
Propane.   Yep, propane - I once built a car battery powered automotive
osilloscope from scratch using a twisted copper wire on a bernzomatic
torch. This was back in my hippy Buckie-dome days.
So like wow, how do you guys do surface mount? Charcoal fired toaster
oven? Probably have a PIC controling the bellows, eh? Or put a pic in
the oven and when it smokes, it's hot enough.
