I just looked at the cerfpod....  pretty cool....
(I like there cerfPDA too but it's $2500...ouch)

have you thought about trying the iOpener
it's a netappliance that used to sell for $100....(REALLY cheap)
thinking they would get money from being your ISP (wrong!)
then people hacked it into a Linux Box

my friend has one with linux on it...pretty nice
you can find them on ebay for about the original price
....I guess some people thought they where hackers
...but then they must have found out it's a little harder than in the movies
...so they gave up on it
