Rudy, Are you sending the correct address for the DAC? I know this sounds trivial, but is something that needs to be checked. Also, are you using the hardware I2C capabilities? I've tried to get the hardware I2C (MSSP) going, but have had no luck so far. But then I haven't given it much time either. Anyway, check the address, and check to see if you're getting an 'ACK' bit back.
