A couple of days ago a friend of mine found a site on the internet that
explained how you can make your own solder paste.  The following was
translated from Russian, with a few things omitted.  So if something is not
clear, ask.

So what do you need to do to make solder paste?  First, you make thin solder
powder (with a file).  Then, you mix it with alcohol-based flux.  The amount
of solder in the paste is found by experiment.  If the paste is too thick,
add alcohol.

Try it and tell me if it works.  :-)
