I mentiond this a while back in the list and tried all the tricks and tips that a few people advised me of but nothing worked. I have an ASUS MB with a SST39SF020 90-4C-PH Award Flash 2Mbit BIOS chip. The chip is definatly not right in the head since I swapped it with the BIOS in an identical MB which did work. So, I'm wondering if there is anybody (Preferably near the San Diego, CA area) that has the ability to re-program such a chip? Some links to spec sheets and the BIOS Image file are below: BIOS Chip Number: SST39SF020 90-4C-PH BIOS Chip URL: http://www.partminer.com/design_center/images/pdf/D2716781.pdf (you must log in to PM first, then paste the link) BIOS Image: ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/beta/mb/bios/p3bf1071.zip BIOS Image FIle: 1007f.001 (256K) I'd be happy to pay you for your efort. Thanks for any help. -Dan -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways. See http://www.piclist.com/#archives for details.
