Talk to the board house(s) before you start on the board if possible.
Most will be glad to send you a list of their requirements and
capabilities. Most  probably won't care too much where the 0,0
point is as long as it is plainly visible on the gerbers/mechanical
drawings.  It can save a lot of work (time & money)  if you know
the details in advance.
