.. I'd only agree as regards 'normal' dogital scopes - Since I got my
HP 54645D deep-memory scope I've hardly used my Tek 2465A, but I;d
never part with the latter, as there is still the odd occasion I need
an analogue 'reality-check'!
The HP has analogue-like response and controls, and the ability to
zoom in on  a captured waveform is one of those things you miss badly
when using another scope!
