Are the 18Fxxx devices even available yet?  I can't find them anywhere.

Have you seen the programming algorithm for the 18 series ;-)

I have done it for the '18C' series which is open sourced in the Pocket
programmer project, and will look at the mods needed for the flash as
time permits.
