I have a few F452's too. They are not commercially available yet, but may be obtained by contacting Microchip and joining their "Early Adopter Program." I have experienced some frustration with it, too - there is NO support for the 18F's in PICSTART Plus. When I asked how to program them with PICSTART, I was told that I would have to buy a PROMATE Programmer.
