It would be better if you posted it to a web page and sent the link
rather than the attachment.

I don't think the list software is stripping attachments, but I remember
it being discussed awhile ago.  Could be something the MIT smtp server
did to your email on the way to the list server, or perhaps your own ISP
removed it.
