That routine works a treat, thanks David, slip that into the book.
Locks up with the bsf gie at the end (even though I've got none
enabled), so I took it off for now. I just checked the F628 errata.
Basically the same as the manual (hmmm, they also omit the
bsf gie from their routine now) and nothing like yours

Still get that 1C/9C thing with EECON1, but it works anyway. ???
