Yeah, its on tha back on mine, last time I tried to tinker with it I got a couple of hundred volts of tingle running through my fingers and breadboard so I havent touched it since, but it's an attractive feature for me because I like building projects that show images on my scope.. Z mod is the next step.. so I can watch TV on it :) > A DSO front end could be pretty cute, especially if you hide it in a > drawer, or inside the scope itself. > A 1945 oscillograph-wobbulator with storage, and four channel readout, I > love it! :) I was going to remove one of the y modules, and build a new version.. without the valves :) and with some nice DS features, theres only space for 2 y modules and a timebase, but they all plug into a backplane in the scope (which weighs about 20 pounds with no modules installed anyway) so I have access to the timebase, Z and both y channels. I was thinking of useing the other chanel to write some text on the screen- pic controlled of course :) I just discovered that solartron still exist but I dont think they are still in the business of making scopes anymore, I might just give them a prank support call tommorow to see what happens.. :) "Oscilloscope sir? we havent made those for 30 years..."
