I have been trying to identify the spec of a motorola diode for some weeks now.

the diode is in a DO41 plastic package. (5W)

Motorola are unable / unwilling to help, the usual response!

ON SEMI, dont recognise the number, and all of the suppliers I have contacted so
far, dont have any idea.

I'm guessing that it is a zener or transient suppresser of some sort, judging from
the circuit.

Does anyone have any old motorola databooks that list this device, just the basic
spec. would be useful
