You've probably got more chance where you are. Only ones I can
find here are on imported leads. Broken leads are repaired when
possible because of the expense, and it has to be in a pretty sorry
state before it goes in the bin, but then it's often because the clip
has broken ;-)

Being generally for medical electrodes they prefer not to take
chances - any doubtful ones are not used on real patients, but
they are used nonetheless

Yes, but they aren't always the best connection. Ever had a
wonky 9V battery clip ? Not sure if they'll work on this board
without mods

Open to suggestions. Thought the spring clips would be around
somewhere, possibly an off-the-shelf industrial version. But ain't
it always the way ?

The gap between the PCB and the mechanism is very narrow. The
board has fattish stumpy test point pins, but I think these may have
been of more use for bench testing rather than in situ
