Ok, so its only indirectly pic related (although I am communicating with a
PIC with rs232...)

How do I get HyperTerminal to echo characters locally ?

I tried File>Properties>Settings Tab>Ascii setup and ticked the "Echo typed
characters locally" box but it doesn't work. There's nothing in the help
about it. Any suggestions ?
