My NZ contact is asking the same questions of the US office. I've
asked her to amend the questions to rule out any answers that
have anything to do with damaged, tortured, or molested cells. It
may be that "the company line" is also protecting sales. Any
suggestion that battery life can be prolonged is not good business
(cf adding resistor to filament bulbs)
