This kind of question comes up a lot.  In Eagle, I spend 35% of my time
drawing new parts, 5% actually entering the schematic, and the rest routing
the board.  Drawing parts is frustrating to new guys because they think they
will spent 95% of their time entering the schematic and 5% routing it, 0%
entering new parts.
