I do know how to do it in the mplab code, If you refer to my posting re:pic :code help needed? posted on Saturday I posted a snippet of code on what I'am trying to do, my problem is that The bit test and register test that I was trying to perform does not seem to Want to work and without having the emulation system it is really hard to watch the code run to see why the bit test are not working the only thing I can do is make some changes program the chip and drop it in the proto. For C I think Hi-Tech has a free evaluation version that produces only a listing, great for this purpose. NB the reason you will probably not get a 'direct' answer is that it is so simple and straightforward (5 instructions) that it does not learn you anything when someone just spells it out.
