Alan,

 I don't know about the other fellow that, Dinho Aes, but I am trying to
 use SLAVE mode.  I haven't tried MASTER mode because I don't need that
 mode, but I guess I could try it.   The problem is of course that the
 Ap Note code won't compile without errors.  And I looked at the PICLIST
 code archive first, but didn't see anything that would help me with this
 Ap Note code specifically.   I could bit bang some routines, but I really
 wanted to get the MSSP going.  I've never used this module before, so
 decided I'd try it so I can use in in the future if necessary.
