Strange, but true.  I have seen lots of reference to it (eg

automotive transients and other electrical insults like 24V jump starts)
I would NEVER attempt to jump start my rusty 85 Tercel with 24V - I
value it more than that!

IS0 7637 deals with automotive transients, but I do not have a full copy
of it.  They do discuss on-highway 24V vehicles (like transport trucks),
but I was hoping to find something which is a bit more pertinent to
off-highway heavy equipment (like skidders, excavators, bulldozers,
tractors etc.)

Does anyone know of a web site with such a thing as a web site with
downloadable ISO standards?  I am far from any sort of decent technical
library, and the local college, although it teaches HD mechanics and
electronics tech programs, does not have any such references.

Any help is very much appreciated!
