+AD4- Does anyone get experience in using the Holtek HT1621 LCD controller? I haven't used this one particularly, but I am struggling with LCD controllers this week. I hop you find a quick solution to your problem. I'd be replacing the chip at this point. 1. What led you to pick the HT1621? Is is cheap? (Assuming it is, being from Holtek) 2. How many segs/coms does it drive? 3. Is it a serial or parallel interface? 4. Did you find they had good support, good docs? I've been using Samsung KS0035's, and they are troublesome. Documentation is brief and sketchy, translated by chimpanzees, support is nonexistent, but there are few alternatives. I've been told they are the cheapest driver available in the Far East, but that may be old information. --Lawrence Lile who says +ACI-LCD's are a pain in the neck+ACEAIg- ----- Original Message ----- From: +ACI-John Waters+ACI- +ADw-john+AF8-fm+AF8-waters+AEA-HOTMAIL.COM+AD4- To: +ADw-PICLIST+AEA-MITVMA.MIT.EDU+AD4- Sent: Tuesday, January 15, 2002 3:51 PM Subject: +AFs-EE+AF0-: problem using HT1621 LCD controller +AD4- Hi All, +AD4- +AD4- Does anyone get experience in using the Holtek HT1621 LCD controller?
