I replace an ED-11 with a PIC some time ago and am still using the same protocol. I don't have any datasheets but I am very familiar with the operations of you have any questions. I had talked to SuperTex a few years ago and they were droping the ED line. I would think they maintain some old data sheets, but if not let me know and I will tell you what i can then you can ask questions about the rest. ED 9 is a manchester code encoder/decoder made by Supertex Inc. and is now I think pretty much obsolete. www.supertex.com may be helpful for data sheets etc. Have fun..
