Can anyone direct me to references on electrical transients for mobile hydraulic equipment (i.e. 24V systems)? I already have lots of info on 12V (automotive) transients! For automotive systems, devices must be designed to withstand 24V for at least 5 minutes. Apparently, a 24V battery is used to jump 12V cars in some instances. Does anyone know if 48V is used to jump 24V systems? Any help is much appreciated! ____________________________________________ Lyle Killough lyle@suregripcontrols.com ____________________________________________ Sure Grip Controls Inc. 4 - 1413 McGill Road Kamloops, BC, V2C 6K7 Canada phone 250-374-2278 fax 250-374-1099 ____________________________________________ www.suregripcontrols.com ____________________________________________ -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
