Any other PIClisters want to weigh in? I'm not grokking your question about needing to delete a wire before selecting a component. I haven't found this to be a problem. You can usually select a component (say to ***MOve it) by clicking in the middle of it. If that doesn't work you can select it with the GRoup command, and then do the MOve command, and right click to select the group( which only contains one component) Sometimes if you pick in a crowded area, Eagle will highlight the part it thinks you picked in red. Right clicking will cycle through the nearby components, until you like the one it picks and left click to select it. Is this the problem? Usually if I move a component, the NEt wires rubberband along with it. ***Items in the above list in all-caps can be typed in at the keyboard as two-key shortcuts. MO for move, etc. I like these and think they reduce stress on the already carpal-tunneled mouse hand. --Lawrence . > > Thanks, > Cliff -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
