I am looking for schematics/examples of interfacing a PIC with a mobile
phone to utilise the SMS messaging function.

I have an idea to link a temperature/power monitoring circuit for an
industrial refrigerator with an SMS text messaging service - this way
engineers can be warned of breakdown or can remotely enquire as to
refrigerator temp/fan speed etc.
