Hi all,

I tried to read the contents of my new 16F628, using my new Warp13 =
programmer, by placing the Pin1 of the chip in the Pin1 of the ZIF =
socket in the programmer.
But the data that was read back looks similar to the data that would =
have been read back when no chip is inserted into the socket (all data =
-program/eeprom/config bits =3D 0).
I made sure that the "Force ISP" is not set.

I also tried using MPLAB to read the chip which also gave me the same =
result. Trying to program the chip did not succeed either.

Can anyone tell me how to program/read my 16F628 ?

Any help is appreciated.=20
Just a note: the programmer programs a 16F877 without any problems at =
all.
