EIA485 and EIA232 (RS: recommended standard. EIA: actual standard) are not
protocols. They define the physical and electrical connectivity.

You need to further define your problem. Do you wish to transmit the same
data on both a EIA485 and EIA232 link? Or do you need to multiplex so that
the USART uses one at a time but not both at the same time? Is it a requirement
for data to be able to be received off both links at the same time?

My vague answer for you vague question is "it's possible". However with no
details of what you need done, there's no way to get an accurate assesment.
