Hey thanks Andy & the other guys. Not knowing anything about USB I just figured it would be a "relatively" simple thing to do ... :0 Good thing I asked! From what you say, I concur : it doesn't look do-able. Looks like the most practical way to go would be to use a CCD that's designed to be interfaced to a processor. Like a Gameboy CCD element or Mitsubishi's artificial iris? Anybody on-list done any interfacing projects with those? Thanks a lot guys - you saved me a few $$ that time.
