*nearly* everyone on this list has dealt with that at least once
(successfully). Your question about translating DOS Hebrew (code 128..) to
ISO Hebrew is answered elsewhere (unrelated to PICs or LCDs) as it is an
abomination bestowed upon us by that certain large software firm. Search
for 'ISO Hebrew ...'.

The translation is usually done using a lookup table or a if/then range
check, or at source level (when you write the assembly). It is too trivial
to explain here.
