I am trying to get a PIC 16F84A to function as an ultrasonic distance measuring system. I am using Murata 40 KHz Tx and Rx. The PIC works great and gives me the Tx signal plus receiver range gating and time of flight measurement but I am having great difficulty getting any receiver sensitivity.
