Thanks for the info. I'll try the disconnect/re-connect trick the next
time I need to change the configuration settings.

I'm just running the plain vanilla version of HyperTerminal that came
with Win98se. The 'about' box doesn't list a version number but
indicates that you can upgrade to a version 1.2 program.
