What I'm doing is having one PC on input using a Max232 and want the ability to switch between 2 output ports. i.e. PC to comp#1 of if I type a string ~1 the pic switches the output to comp#2. 232 | | | ---PIC--- | | | | | AND 1 | | | AND 2------ There are 4 AND gates which go to tx and rx on comp 1 and comp2 Keith --- Jinx wrote: > > is a general rule of thumb.
