I think I could manage to be a loud screamer type ;-)

They reckon the thing to do is play dead. Could probably
manage that. A second or two after the bear got me

How the hell does anyone maintain enough composure to
play dead ? Wonder if you could get behind it and hang
to its back fur ?

When I lived in a not-very-nice neighbourhood I carried
a charged camera flashgun with me at night just in case
