Hmmm, I see what you mean. Pages 72 and 83 seem to
contradict, although I have to be honest and say I haven't
used Synch mode and so not noticed that discrepancy
before. It's possible that there's an error in the datasheet
(wouldn't be the first)

mentions only that ADEN should be spelled ADDEN. I guess
it's 50:50 which page you believe until you try it. I've got a small
project that will use inter-PIC comms but that's not due to be
done for a few days yet. I'll be interested if anything is found
out that will affect that job. Keep in touch please
