The stack is circular for all PICs that I am aware of (certainly 12C and
16C/16F, haven't dealt with 17C in a while), except the 18C.

I know that the stack on the 18C/18F is _NOT_ circular. But the 18C has an
explicit stack pointer register that you can initialize.
