Tal, Get 16F628 (Internal RC oscillator, better, more RAM, more programmable memory, and to top it all, it's cheaper). I tried using the internal RC oscillator, and find that it's pretty accurate. I, however, never tried it across huge temperature range. Hi all Is it possible that 16F84 will work without a crystal, and only with a resistor and a capacitor clocking the OSC1 with OCS2 disconnected? I found a design that use this method - can it be?
