Hmmm, Too offtopic for the list, but maybe other people are interested at= all, so lets talk here ;o) This is more or less an easy task. It depends of the perfection of the= work, I'll tell you two ways (which I use) to do it - Easy way: Install easy CD creator from Adaptec Start "Spin Doctor" (part of the package) Be sure spin doctor is reading from the line in port Play your disk, select noise cancelling, tell the spin doctor to do the= rest - As failsafe as it can be. Believe me! ;o))) - Hard (but better) way: Instal whatever CD program you want install Sound Forge with the "vinyl noise reduction" plugin read the disc using the sound forge recorder spend lots of time processing (and learning to) the audio save as .WAV files record it using the CD program of your preference. Now, if you only want to know why you can hear the sound in your speakers,= but nothing gets recorded, this is also simple: Check the audio input, in= the program. EX: Sound recorder from windows - go to edit, audio= properties (maybe the names are wrong, remember my windoze is in= Portuguese) and choose in recording, the source - you should be using= "line in" and not "microphone" Any questions, feel free to ask ;o) ---8<---Corte aqui---8<---- Alexandre Souza taito@terra.com.br http://planeta.terra.com.br/lazer/pinball/ ---8<---Corte aqui---8<---- -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
