Thanks, Dale. I found that link. It might be good as a last resort, but all I really need is an ISIS manual or someone who remembers the device designations. Perhaps this will jog someone's memory...... F1: is drive #1 (8 inch dia.) likewise for other disk drives with a different integer after the F. BB: I think is byte bucket, a virtual device for which I cnnot imagine a purpose. There are others; again what is the designation for the serial port? BTW, this MDS does run CP/M and they have it, along with a manual, but of course the CP/M operating system does not use the same diskette formatting and cannot read the ISIS diskettes. I'm just suprised noone else responded to this. I know a lot of you are younger, but ther must be more like me on this list who cut their teeth on 8085 and 8048 MPUs. Of course, you've probably all thrown them away like I did.
