Has anyone tried programming a 16F73 using the El Cheapo? The interface doesn't have my chip listed, and when I try to program it as a different chip with similar pin-outs (16C73, 16F873) it looks like it either doesn't get completely erased, or the programmer can't write to certain locations. The red status bar goes approximately 90% of the way, and then the error message pops up, saying that "PICmicro does not have Correct Instruction at Address 0x02008. 0x03FB3 was Expected, but 0x03FB1 is the Actual" Please let me know what differences b/w 16C73 and 16F73 might affect the programmers operation, and if there are any possible workarounds.
