Forgot to say earlier...  you CAN get adapters to connect a VGA monitor to
the 13W3 connector.  I've been told you have to have a multi-sync monitor,
but I have tried several from old standard VGA to a new sync-anything 17",
and have not yet had a single one work with one of those adapters on a Sun
workstation.

And I think your Sparc 2 is probably about the equivalent of a fast 486...
but still not bad to play with, just don't run X!  8-)
