I'm predicting a usable beta version will be ready around March. As far as
how it's coming, well the basic stuff is done. You get an idea of what
it's capable of by looking at the regression tests that it currently
passes:

I'm currently re-writing signed comparisons (for the 3'rd time dammit)

Craig Franklin is working on a linker too. I don't know if it'll be ready
by March or not...
