Jim,
        I have a 2225 and love it.  I bought it new when they first came
out.
I had a little trouble with the focus control but it was covered by
warrantee.
        It is a very reliable scope.  It is about 10 years old and has
only
given me the 1 problem.  I also have the service and operators manual.
I paid about US$1000 for it when it was new.
