It depends upon the bit rate of the mp3.  A 256kbps mp3 will require 32kBps,
for example.  Which (obviously) means 1.9MBpm.  Half the bit rate, half the
memory required.  Approximately...

The trade off is quality (high bit rates) vs quantity (file size).  Decide
what works for you  - most personal player manufacturers seem to base their
storage time on 96kbps mp3s, from what I've seen.
