Assuming you had the 0.5 degrees stable prior to trying to extend it to 0.1 degrees, the unstability ( i.e. noice etc. ) should be less than 0.5 degrees. If you have higher fluctuations then you have to look for other causes, you are using one-shot mode ? In this case I assume the an fairly small FIR should be of use, let's say an average of 8 readings ?
