Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the ccs pic compiler on linux. I just recently purchased it and was hoping to use it on a project, but I am having problems installing the darn thing. The version is 3.041. I'm running Redhat 7.0. I've installed the software as explained in the Install file found on the cd. I've placed the compiler in /usr/local/picc. In that directory I created the ccsc.ini file which contains i="/usr/local/picc/devices:/usr/local/picc/drivers" My work directory where my source code is located is found at /home/mbogucki/projects So for example, I copied ex_sqw.c to /home/mbogucki/projects. In the projects directory I would type: /usr/local/picc/ccsc +fm ./ex_sqw.c This would give me the following error CCS PCM C Compiler Registered to: VRIOtech, Inc., Michael Bogucki Compiling: ex_sqw.c in /home/mbogucki/projects/ Error[24] /usr/local/picc/devices/16c74.h 2 : Error file not found. (18) I've attempted to try /usr/local/picc/ccsc +fm ./ex_sqw.c I="/usr/local/picc/devices:/usr/local/picc/drivers" This gives me: CCS PCM C Compiler Registered to: VRIOtech, Inc., Michael Bogucki Compiling: ex_sqw.c in /home/mbogucki/projects/ Error[24] /usr/local/picc/devices/16c74.h 2 : Error file not found. (18) Any assistance would greatly be appreciated. --|\/| | |< E The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not "Eureka!"
