I just got an email virus from Pakistan. If you get such a thing do not open it! It is an exe file camouflaged as a WAV file. I use Unix(es) so it does not affect me but beware. The file was an attachment with .WAV extension but it is in fact an .EXE (as per Unix file command). It came from: _dada@cyber.net.pk but AOL and some pakistani servers appeared in the headers. I have no idea what virus this is but stringing it shows several strings that refer to root hkeys (Windows registry keys/modifications) and something to do with the tcp/ip stack. Bad stuff. There are also references to the following DLLs in it, so I suspect that these may be corrupted by it: KERNEL32.DLL ADVAPI32.dll MSVCRT.dll USER32.dll WSOCK32.dll The md5sum of the exe file is: 0bf5eaeed25da53f85086767bcd86e5e Be careful!
