Welcome aboard!

I am not familliar with the 12C508, but I think they mean the value is
not guaranteed.  It may vary with manufacturing lot, or room
temperature, or supply voltage, etc.  You can not count on it being
anything specific.  You can not even count on it being random.

BTW, you should put a subject on your posts.
