So I decided I would have to write a >program to convert Gerber format to HPGL and do it properly myself. Can I suggest giving PrintGL a try? It converts HPGL to virtually every print output device I've seen. Its written by Cary Ravitz (Ravitz software http://www.concentric.net/~Ravitz/ ) and works well. While it does not work with Gerber files directly, I am able to get excellent prototype boards by using it to print the artwork plotter files generated by my CAD package. dwayne Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, AB, CANADA (780) 489-3199 voice (780) 487-6397 fax Celebrating 17 years of Engineering Innovation (1984 - 2001) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Do NOT send unsolicited commercial email to this email address.
